Custom Birth Plates from The Little Peach

When I was growing up it was practically the law that someone gave you a personalised date plate when you were born or married. While laws appear to have been relaxed I for one am still very fond of commemorative platters.

I recently wrote about The Little Peach’s prints whose sweet retro whimsy sits so well in the nursery. Their latest product is a range of custom Baby Birth Plates. I love the designs which feature characters partying and exploring. I’m really taken with the You & Me plate (top centre) which has a 50s illustration Venn diagram feel. The plates include name, date, time, place and birth weight – I think it’s particularly cute how the birth weight is on the strong man’s barbell in the circus scene.
