I met young designer Jessica Graham back in the autumn Top Drawer, the retail trade show, and was instantly enamoured by her offbeat, vibrant cushions and artwork that actually went on to win Best New Child Children’s Product at the show.

Influenced by spending her early childhood in Asia and her travels abroad teaching in Uganda and India, she’s fused her experiences to inspire these edgy designs which use strong black outline sketches in her signature style filled with popping colour and often funny facial expressions – I love the eyes!

There’s divine cushions (30 X 30 cm) with contrasting piping, £25-£35, 10″ X 10″ prints starting from £25 unframed prints, and handpainted with acrylic canvases from £65. They’re fantastic statement pieces for high standout in a nursery/bedroom or playroom. Hot!

  1. Love the robot. He looks sort of unhinged – kind of like a reflection of myself on a bad day!
