Isn’t this tea set just divine?!
It’s new in at one of my favourite stores, Little Baby Company and is designed by Danish sisters En Gry Og Sif.
They have delightful goodies that have been hand made in Nepal. This unusual tea seat is made from 100% Pure Wool from New Zealand and 100% cotton crochet. I love the plum colour (all dyes used are ecologically approved) and it’s got this great old lady tea set vibe.
It’s got gorgeous whimsical detail from the embroidered front of the storage bag, the flowers on the lid and the crocheted ones on the cups and tea pot, where some have little pearls on them. Each set comes with a bag, 2 cups and saucers, a biccies plate, and a tea pot.
Handmade and unusual doesn’t come cheap so this will set you back £40. It’s gorgeous though and you’ll want to hold on to it for years. You could go the whole hog and buy their cake set (£9.99) to add to the ‘authenticity’ of your tea party.
