I admit to being a tad partial to homemaker mogul Martha Stewart and I’m loving her (or should I say her teams) nineteen crafting ideas for homemade toys and games in her Martha’s Crafts for Kids special. They have varying degrees of difficulty with most fairly easy to put together and although it’s got some US references, they’re still applicable here and also quite adaptable. I loved most of them but ideas like making your own memory game cards, a piggy bank from a bottle (one that works particularly well for doing together), play table inspiration, and the felted animals were some of my absolute favourites. The whole site is inspirational and easy to lose yourself in for hours!
