Royal wedding fever seems to be upon everyone but me, but finally with only three days to go, I’ve found something commemorating the occasion that has drawn me in.

Will and Kate – A Love Story is one of those apps that reminds you of the greatness of the iPad for expanding storytelling into an interactive experience. Illustrated by Adam Larkum and collaged with photographs, this whimsy tale of two friends that go on adventures and fall in love, is packed full of fun with bleeting sheep whose mouthes open when you press on them, as well as a trip on a hot air balloon, setting off fireworks, showing off their honeymoon photos and more.

There’s a couple of pages that elicited a chuckle from me and the kids who seem to have got into princesses and fairies recently oohed, aahed and giggled. I wasn’t sure about the whole “Like many little girls, Catherine dreamt of meeting a prince” line but overall, Will and Kate – A Love Story is corny, cute, but actually cool, it’s £1.89 on iTunes.
