Before starting a family I worked as a Dispensing Optician, but decided to take the opportunity of extended maternity leave to re-evaluate my career choice, and do something completely different, which I loved. Earlier this year I launched SnugBaby, a business making and selling mei tai style baby carriers, which I run from home.

Favourite website for shopping: For baby things, from toys to pushchairs, my favourite has to be Kiddicare. They have everything and I have always had great service.

Baby product I couldn’t survive without: My SnugBaby sling, of course

Any product that makes motherhood easier: In the early days with Josh, it was the humble muslin – I used it for everything! Now I would say it is a sticker reward chart – my children are so much better behaved since we introduced one

Best excuse to my partner for buying something: Luckily he is worse for buying things than I am, so I don’t need excuses!

Any guilty pleasures: Am I allowed to include Gordon Ramsey in this? Or if we are talking baby related, then I love the 10 minutes peace a Postman Pat DVD brings.
