I’ve gone into lust mode after a browse around Couverture, home of covetable one-offs and delightful clothing and accessories for adults and kids.
As soon as I saw these Swedish Goose Down Duvet Socks, my feet got all twitchy at the thought of being snuggled in these through the cold winter. The outer and inners of the boots are cotton whilst the down is the comfy lining. The zip fastening at the front is concealed and they come in charcoal and brick red as well as the airforce blue pair pictured. These are perfect for when I’m working away in the top room in our house which tends to be a bit nippy! £49. You probably won’t need to put the heat on so much in these!
We may not do that many weekends away at the moment but that doesn’t stop me imaging myself packing everything but the kitchen sink into one of their metallic Japanese bags (also comes in silver). Or maybe I need to imagine myself blinging it up at the hospital when I go to have ‘baby 2′…. The metallic pattern has been screenprinted by hand onto the cotton to create a subtle effect. It is £189 so you’d better be good for Santa this Christmas….
