I started the blog two weeks before my due date and it was borne out of frustration at not having somewhere that highlighted the exciting things that are out there to buy for mums and babies…. Even though I am celebrating it’s first birthday, after my emergency c-section nothing happened on this blog for several months, so I feel that the blog has done incredibly well considering that it’s been ‘full time’ only since January!

Perfect as a gift, they come in a sealed pouch and you have no idea what your baby is going to be (each t-shirt has a future career on it) and they have different careers for boys and girls on each one. Obviously in this age of equality, I would buy whatever colour t-shirt (pink or blue) for the baby boy or girl as girls can be property tycoons and tax inspectors too, not just air hostesses and personal shoppers!

I was pretty excited when I found out about new baby store KidsPod as they stock Not Neutral, a very cool American brand but initially I thought that it was just their dining ware…. It has a very cool feature of a deep shelf at the foot of the bed which could be used for storing things on or as they suggest, for your little one to sit on and tie their shoe laces.

So I went to the playgroup today and I mentioned in passing that I was thinking of selling my Quinny Buzz because the straps were driving me mad as they seemed very short particularly when the bambino is in winter clothes and it has now got so bad that we can’t use the footmuff. I was shocked when my friend said that she had been to Mothercare recently and she had been advised that there was a “fault” with 2007 models and that she would need to get special extending straps which would be ordered for her free of charge.
