This Rainbow Rocker is brilliant. I love everything about it. It has a beautiful form, and is so functional. Lola would LOVE it. So much so, it’s going straight to the top of her must-have list – hear that, husband? I see her using it for all of the above, and more – and she’s a rainbow fiend at the moment! The rocker is made from birch plywood and has a saliva-resistant, safety-tested finish . Want want want. I think it’s a steal at €135.00 plus €20 postage to the UK. Swooooon.

Kitty’s room seems to be leaning towards a woodland theme (good excuse to buy more owls) so I’ve been trawling the web for foresty art. This week, I came across Stay Gold Media‘s print which features more woodland animals than you can shake a stick at – bear, wolf, squirrel, lizard, snake, deer, frog, hedgehog – there’s even a skunk in there! A further browse revealed they also do matching nautical and farm animal prints. Studio Snowpuppe make stunning paper origami lampshades. They’re bright, colourful and tick a whole lot of boxes for me. The designers decided there was a need for lampshades that reflected the light from energy-saving light bulbs to provide a brighter more natural light, found diamond forms were the solution and these beautiful shades were created.  There are a couple of different styles to choose (from £52) in a range of colours, along with coordinating celling roses (£17) and wall lights (£95). All can be bought direct. Note that you can only use these lampshades with an energy-saving light bulb or LED light bulb.

Sister duo Carla and Bekka of divine boutique Sisters Guild always have the most fun ideas in their Monday Makery series over on their blog. Their latest is for cloud dough (also known as moon-sand) which you only need flour and baby oil to make and there’s so much play possibilities. They’ve also provided plenty of inspiration for how to make the most of it and we’ll definitely be doing this over the half-term, especially if we don’t end up with sand pit weather….

Forever on the hunt for good maternity wear, particularly good vintage maternity wear, I was immediately interested when In Pig’s email dropped in to my mailbox talking about their vintage-inspired clothing.

The debut collection consists of four pieces – my favourites are the 60s and 70s short dresses plus there’s a 70s maxi dress and classic 80s dungarees. The smock dress is available in either a soft denim or a beautiful Liberty print needlecord.
