As someone who tries to live in a relatively eco-friendly way, the prospect of a new baby throws up a host of issues – whether to choose washable or eco disposable nappies and how to avoid plastic toys. Which is why I’m loving the new wave of cardboard kids’ stuff.
We’ve recently featured Mr Kaliski’s Billy Rocker and Green Lullaby’s Multibox and now those Swedish purveyors of kiddie cool Our Children’s Gorilla are tempting us with their ultra-hip cardboard fire station. It’s a great dolls’ house alternative for boys and if you add the equally fab brownstone shop, you can create your own street, without creating landfill.
