Whilst I’m not anywhere as bad as I used to be, I am a sucker for cosmetics and I have found that whilst it’s not easy to find a multitude of ranges on the high street, the internet has some really good luxurious and green buys for baby cosmetics.
Bod for Bubs Cowboys and Itchy Bums nappy rash cream actually guarantees to work and relieve baby’s sore bum. It’s a totally natural product chock full of homoeopathic remedies, extracts and essential oils. Examples include Chickweed which has been known for it’s soothing and tonic properties for 
thousands of years and Shea butter which is anti-inflammatory, amongst many other ingredients.
Buballoo’s Miracle Dry Skin Balm (also by Bod for Bubs) contains lots of fatty acids and has ingredients such as shea butter, evening oil of primrose, jojoba, wheat germ and cocoa butter and can help with very dry skin and exzema.
I must say that these products definitely appeal to me because black skin does have a tendency to be drier and I’m used to hunting down and using products that contain ingredients like jojoba, shea butter and cocoa butter. I’m off to flex my plastic…
