Boden Spring Collection

Retailers are full of the joys of spring and positively bursting with daffodils and skipping lambs, obviously unprepared for the mega snow volume! Boden have just launched their spring collection online, and here are a few of my ‘spring’ favourites…
We do love combining different patterns together here at BG, so this pretty play-set is an immediate hit with me. A printed smock top with sweet dotty elasticated bottoms, there’s a pink version with the faintest whiff of Cath Kidston about it, but I prefer this blue and green one. £22.
I just loved these farmyard t-shirts, £12. With an easy-pull-on envelope neckline, and a choice of your favourite farmyard animal design, they’re charming and practical. I think the bold screen-print style animals are appealing without being too twee, and the bright red ‘oink’ one is the pick of the bunch.
These jersey baggies are comfy and sweet. As with all Boden items, it’s the detail that makes it (and justifies the price). Here, a simple pair of stripy trews are picked out with grey trim and a tie-waist. £10.
And perhaps my favourite: this cotton play dress. There’s a blue patterned one that I’m not so keen on, but this oversize polka dot print is right on the money. Once again, I’m loving the trim (red this time) and the matching pants combined with the outsize spots make it a winner for me. £20
