Birds of a Feather Mobile by Helene Ige

September 2, 2008 by Kat · 3 Comments

Kat writes…After featuring the gorgeous Flight of Fancy Mobile from Djeco I remembered this chic bird mobile from Little Baby Company.

I can picture this mobile in many rooms besides the nursery. It is designed by LA based Helene Ige and laser cut from a single sheet of Walnut plywood. You get the rest of the sheet as well which you could frame as a matching piece of art or even use as a stencil when you are decorating the nursery. It comes in at £39.95 from Little Baby Company.

Although I can’t find this one in the UK I thought you would like to see this Wise Ol’ Owl Mobile as well. It is inspired by designs from the 1960s and is cut from plexi-glass. It comes in brown & white and all white as well as the orange & white pictured here. I am in serious lust and feeling very tempted to snap one up for myself. You can buy directly from Helene’s website for $65 although I’m not sure about postage.
