Belle & Boo Spring Summer Clothing 2010

February 26, 2010 by Kat in Clothing with 0 Comments

Belle & Boo has captured the collective imagination around the world with childhood illustrations dripping with nostalgia. Their capsule girls’ clothing collection for Spring Summer 2010 is the clothing of Belle and her friends brought to life. The collection at first glance is very traditional but on closer consideration it is also contemporary. The Spring Blouse and Spring Shorts (above left) tap into the continuing trend for tailored shorts and would look darling with wool tights on colder days. The Freedom Dress (above centre) is closely modelled on the dress worn in Lola Freedom. It is made from organdy and has Boo embroidered on the right hand side. The full skirt is returning to vogue and we spotted plenty of examples at the trade shows this Winter. The Boo Pinafore Dress (above right) is a simple pink twill which again features and embroidered Boo. I love the ric rac detailing around the hem. Each of the items is lined in coordinating fabric printed with the Boo design. All items are available in sizes 12 months – 5 years and prices are £20 – £39.

They are currently showing as a preview on the Belle & Boo site (modelled by Belle herself) and will be available to order mid-March.
