Anna Maria Horner – Handmade Beginnings

May 13, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

I am all excited about the release of Handmade Beginnings: 24 Sewing Projects to Welcome Baby by Anna Maria Horner this Friday. If you’re not familiar with her work Anna Maria is a sizzling hot fabric designer and maker who not only creates a whole host of yummy patterns and fabrics but is also a Mama of no fewer than six. Having devoured her last sewing book, Seams to Me: 24 New Reasons to Love Sewing, I can tell you that her style is talkative and her patterns fun and easy to follow.

Handmade Beginnings is a collection of projects to sew up for the new little people all around us. With a very special little person due to arrive in my family any day now I’ve got a stack of fabric at the ready to put some of her projects into production the moment that book hits the mat. I shall bring you a review once it has arrived.
