A portrait is a wonderful way to capture a moment in time. They make an excellent gift (even if it’s to yourself!) and in the digital age it no longer means sitting for hours while a painter works.
I spotted that Alice Apple has recently started offering portrait commissions in order to raise money for The Willow Foundation. Her line drawn portraits are created from photographs and selectively coloured to highlight specific features. love the simplicity and am thinking it could be a good purchase for the ever difficult grandparents!
