Hi, my name is Estelle and currently I’m on maternity leave looking after my gorgeous little 11 month old boy, William.  I live in Edinburgh, which has some fabulous shops for indulging by baby-related shopping addiction.  I also do lots of browsing for new ideas and designers online. I can’t resist Scandinavian brands such as Katvig and Ej Sikke Lej, although British designers such as Bonnie Baby and Little Shrimp are real favourites too.  I love a bargain, and get a real buzz out of rummaging through the rails at TKMaxx, especially when I come across one of my favourite brands!

Favourite Online Store(s): Frugi, Cambridge Baby for Disana and Engel products, Bohemia Design, Nordic Kids , Bonnie Baby , The Hedgepig, Bumpto3 for Grobags and Silly Billyz bibs, John Lewis (for basics like sheets), Kiddicare for highchairs, Boohoo Baby, and Isabella Oliver for maternity clothes.

Favourite Offline Store(s): Bohemia Design (their Marchmont branch is better than their Dundas St branch for baby stuff), Vanilla Bloom, TKMaxx (I’ve found Katvig, Molo and Ej Sikke Lej there in the past!), and John Lewis.

Pregnancy product I couldn’t survive without: Dream Genii pillow- invaluable for getting a good nights sleep during pregnancy and also a great feeding cushion, birth ball (I couldn’t sit on anything else during the final weeks), Gaviscon and more Gaviscon!

Any product that makes motherhood easier: Tummy Tub – made bathing a newborn so much easier, especially since we have a cast iron bath.  Just sad Will can’t fit into it anymore.

Most treasured possessions: Photos of Will, Will’s first newborn clothes which I have packed away, wedding photos, my guitar.

Best excuse to my partner for buying something: It’s better to buy the more expensive item (e.g car) as it has a good resale value.  Always make this excuse for buying the more pricey stuff for Will, but in reality never sell anything!

Favourite TV Shows: How I Met Your Mother, Worst Week, 24, Lost, Bones, Dexter, Ugly Betty (to mention a few).

Any guilty pleasures: Good wine and chocolate (Prestat is my favourite!)
