In April 2007, Natalie (also known as NML) was not only preparing for the arrival of her newborn by shopping for essentials (OK…and a few non essentials…) but she also needed to put together a gift list because she was being given a baby shower. She rushed out and purchased lots of baby magazines and checked out baby websites and was immensely disappointed.

Where was the funk? Where was the style and function? She became scared that everything was covered in teddy bears or baby pink, blue, or cream. After scouring magazines and the internet for her baby shower list and wowing everyone with her selection, she found that various friends were asking where she had got certain products and how she’d found her bargains, and it made sense to start a shopping guide! So with time on her hands at the beginning of May whilst waiting for ‘the bambino’ to be born, she founded Bambino Goodies to provide a shopping guide for desirable parenting and baby products.

Inspired by her daughter Saria, ‘the bambino’ and now her latest addition ‘baby 2′, Nia, Bambino Goodies takes out all the legwork by doing the searching and bringing all of the finds together under one very cool, enthusiastic, roof. Published every weekday, the blog comprises of news, reviews, features, and trends. Think coolhunting and a shopping and lifestyle guide to the first four years of family life.

Natalie went full time with the blog in January 2008 and it has since grown from 4K to more than 40K unique visitors a month (Host source, Google Analytics, and statcounter) and is the biggest blog/site of its kind in the UK and in the top 50 of baby sites visited in the UK (Hitwise Data June 08).
