3 Great Christening/Naming Gifts for under £20

August 26, 2008 by Guest Post · 1 Comment

rocket box by trousellierI have been bargain hunting this week, in a feeble attempt to help you lot out in the credit crunch. I have to say, given the vast array of gorgeous baby gifts in the shops and online, it hasn’t been easy but here is my pick of the bunch…

This rocket music box by Trousellier, available from Bambino Box, is a gorgeous gift for a boy or girl that will last them well into their early years, and make a lovely keepsake beyond that. A rocket and space man “dance” to soothing music atop a mirrored base, and it comes in well under my budget, at just £16.99

Christening Little Feet Guest BookYou have guest books at weddings, and what better way to record your guests’ words of wisdom at your baby’s ceremony, than a beautiful book, in which all of your guests can write their messages and best wishes. Handbound in white linen, this gorgeous book, with pink embroidered feet on the cover, from Oh So Cherished (£19.50) will be a loving reminder of the special day long after the last vol-au-vent has been eaten!

snail moneyboxEvery baby needs a money box (both of my children have more money than me!) and I think this one from Money Box Shop is lovely. A silver plated snail, with “ABC” and enamel detail on the shell, it will make a fantastic addition to any nursery shelf, and will keep all that pocket money from Granny safe. It definitely won’t break the bank at only £14.50.

  1. The first gift picture at the top is so cute and lovely… how much does this wonderful toy cost? :)
