10 Best: thank you cards for children

October 28, 2011 by Lucy in Latest, Life, Stationery with 0 Comments

There’s no getting away from it now, Christmas is very nearly upon us and no doubt your little one will be furnished with all manner of wondrous things. So, you might as well start thinking about saying thank you. Make the task a little easier with some beautiful stationery. Also, handy to stock up for birthdays, special days out etc. I think Lovely Pigeon’s circus-themed cards are my favourites, especially the surprised-looking lion. Super-cute! £6 for six cards (two of each design) with envelopes, Not on the High Street.

The ever-lovely Belle & Boo have some suitably vintagey thank you cards great for girlie girls, £6.25 for six mini cards with envelopes.

If you’re more of a paper fan then Mrs Booth‘s writing set, £8.50 for ten sheets with coloured envelopes, might be the one for you. A name can be added to the cheery animal-adorned sheets for an additional £3.50.

I’m a big fan of Lollipop Designs‘ retro pastel designs – they exude 50s cool. Loving this rocket and spaceship motif, £4.99 for six cards.

Now these are a real bargain. And if pirates aren’t your thing, take your pick from tractors, owls, dinosaurs, butterflies, cupcakes and racing cars. Pear Derbyshire, £6 for 12 cards.

We’ve raved about Rosehip‘s ultra-bright designs in the past and these lion mini cards are fab and a snip at £4.25 for six, Pen to Paper.

Petra Boase‘s quirky animal designs also have a retro edge – I like the graph-paper background, too. £8.50 for ten.

These Allihopa cards are easily cool enough to be used by the grown-ups in the household – more peacock love. £8.99 for six, Not on the High Street.

We’ve eulogised about Owl & Cat Designs before and I’m loving these plain animal cards with stickers , £11.95 for five, including stickers reading You’re a Star, Thank You and Happy Birthday.

Love the long-legged bird in this set from KOodles, £12 for 12 (three of each design), Folksy. Or, if you want to avoid felling any trees to express your gratitude, check out the wondrousness of Paperless Post. Be warned: designing cards is addictive!
